Akron, OH - 06-13-2008 - CG&FS received the Dorothy O. Jackson Award at the Women of Achievement Annual Luncheon on June 6, 2008. Elaine Harlin, President, and several of our staff were present to accept this award.

The Dorothy O. Jackson Award recognizes and honors area businesses or organizations that have demonstrated excellence and leadership in their commitment to the empowerment of women and promotion of diversity in the workplace. Named for Dorothy O. Jackson, this award honors the efforts of Ms. Jackson and her years of service to the people of our community. Ms. Jackson has always been an advocate for women, minorities and children.

Identifying the work of CG&FS with the legacy of Dorothy O. Jackson was both an honor and tribute to our staff and supporters.
