Client Surveys Reflect Caring

Research consistently demonstrates that two important variables in whether people feel that the services they have received have been helpful are the extent to which they feel valued and respected by those providing service and the extent to which those providing the services are positive and competent in the care they provide.

Child Guidance & Family Solutions regularly asks those who receive services here about their experiences. The results from more than 1,000 asked over the last several years are as follows:

Nearly 98% report that they are satisfied or very satisfi ed with the respect that they are given by those who work with them.

Over 97% report that they are satisfied or very satisfi ed with the level of commitment they experience from those who are working with them.

Nearly 97% report they are satisfied or very satisfi ed with the warmth of the staff.

Nearly 97% report they are satisfied or very satisfi ed with the competence of those who have served them.

Of special importance is that people of varying racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds reply similarly.

This is only a sampling of items we evaluate. We appreciate this feedback. We use it both to measure our clients' perception of care over time (and any variation in this), and to help us create improvement priorities. This is one of the activities that assures that we remain a top provider of choice for those seeking competent and caring behavioral health services.
