Child Guidance Centers and Family Solutions (both with rich histories of helping people in our community…Child Guidance since 1939 and Family Solutions since 1922) merged on July 1, 2003 to become Child Guidance & Family Solutions. The purpose of our merger is to offer a greater opportunity for serving more families and to do it in a seamless way.
We have discovered a valuable way to blend our unique approach to assessment and clinical application with educational and supportive services that touch people of all ages. Weaving together the fabric of family became the new positioning statement. United, two agencies in one, we’ll interact with children and their parents, other adults and the community to strengthen this fabric.
