Robert C. Bender, LISW- Chief Operating Officer
Robert Bender is the Chief Operating Officer of Child Guidance & Family Solutions. He has been an integral and contributing member of the Child Guidance & Family Solutions team for more than 20 years. He is responsible for clinical care, crisis coverage, clinical consultation, monitoring and assessing financial performance, representing the agency on various efforts of the ADM board and direct supervision to the Administrative Assistant for Quality Assessment and Improvement. As COO, Mr. Bender is also responsible for the Annual Performance Measurement and Improvement Program and serves as the chief clinical administrative officer of the agency.
Mr. Bender’s educational background includes a Bachelor’s in Sociology from the University of Akron, Master’s of Science in Social Administration from Case-Western Reserve University and ordination as a permanent Deacon for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Cleveland from Saint Mary Seminary and Graduate School of Theology. His background and experience has helped him conceive and implement policies and procedures that directly aid in the operation of Child Guidance & Family Solutions and the way the agency delivers its services to the community.
On top of his regular duties, Mr. Bender provides consultations and educational/staff development presentations to other agencies on performance measurement and improvement, integration of clinical decision-making with information technology, character development, ethical decision-making and spirituality of everyday life.
