Tim Bartlett, Ph.D. Outpatient Clinical Director
Dr. Tim Bartlett, a behavioral healthcare professional with more than twenty years of behavioral healthcare experience, is Child Guidance & Family Solutions’ Outpatient Clinical Director. A pillar in the behavioral healthcare community, Dr. Bartlett bridges support and safety in the community in addition to ensuring the fluency of the Agency.
Dr. Bartlett has worked at Child Guidance & Family Solutions since 1985, implementing useful programs while developing efficient strategies. Coming from an impressive line of public service providers, Dr. Bartlett ventured into the field of psychology, specializing in adolescent sexual behavior. He has been a licensed psychologist in Ohio since 1988, achieving a B.S. degree from Bethany College, and M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in clinical psychology from Kent State University. He is a member of the Ohio Psychological Association (OPA) and is on the SKUNK Works Committee, which develops and implements evidence-based practice guidelines.
As the Outpatient Clinical Director, Dr. Bartlett supervises outpatient services, is the admissions administrator, manages crisis intervention and ensures compliance with joint-commission standards. “My focus is to monitor and enhance Agency performance while supporting staff in achieving work related goals,” said Dr. Bartlett. Previous roles at the agency include Staff Psychologist, Coordinator of Home-Based Services, Supervising Psychologist, and Assistant Clinical Director. He also aided in the development of eClinical documentation, which drastically reduces the amount of time, money and resources typically invested by the Agency.
In addition to his administrative duties, Dr. Bartlett also focuses his clinical work on adolescent sexual offenders and is the Senior Clinical consultant and Coordinator of the Agency's Sexual Behavior Problems Program. “We work diligently to achieve equilibrium between successful rehabilitation and public safety, keeping the interests and safety of each party at the forefront.”
