Our Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (AD/HD) program is designed to help children with hyperactivity and attention problems adapt to their condition — and to help you learn ways to improve your family life.
Children with AD/HD often are restless and have difficulty paying attention and following rules. We have found that a coordinated effort including medical, family, social and educational interventions works best with these problems.
There is no cure for AD/HD, but we can help you learn specific ways to influence your child’s behavior. We’ll also help your child learn ways to adapt to the challenges he or she is confronted with daily through self-help skills related to studying, paying attention, slowing down and getting along with others. If needed, we’ll work directly with your child’s school and encourage development of a classroom setting that will best meet your child’s educational needs.
