Cheryl K. Murphy, Director of Development
Cheryl Murphy has more than 15 years of experience as a full-time volunteer fundraiser. She has initiated grant proposal programs, developed and implemented strategies to improve and increase fundraising activities results, cultivated relationships with individual donors and encouraged donor involvement in fundraising activities.
Her educational background includes a Bachelor’s of Education in Secondary Business Education from the University of Toledo. She has worked as a high school business teacher in Ottawa Lake, Michigan and Toledo, Capital Campaign Coordinator and Development Director at St. Vincent-St. Mary High School in Akron.
Cheryl was appointed Director of Development for Child Guidance & Family Solutions in February of 2006. She develops, implements and improves all aspects of successful, comprehensive development programs, strategies for outreach cultivation, corporate promotions, marketing and coordinates special events with direct mail campaigns and grant writing.
Cheryl formulates and ensures successful campaign development and implementation for Child Guidance & Family Solutions.
