CG&FS to Sponsor Family Photo Contest
Family Photo Contest 2008
Akron, OH - 03-06-2008 - CG&FS will sponsor a photo contest as part of the Child & Family Awareness Month Family Expo at Summit Mall on Saturday, April 5. Everyone is invited to participate in the contest by submitting family-oriented photos depicting this year's theme, "Weaving Together the Fabric of Family." Prizes will be awarded in each of the following age categories: age 8 and under, 9-18, 19-50 and 51+. An additional "People's Choice Award" will be determined through voting during a preview display at the Main Branch of the Akron-Summit County Public Library from March 29-April 3.
Photos may be black and white or color, must be 5x7 prints, and must be mounted on photo mount board. Photos cannot be scanned images printed on paper. Up to three entries per person may be submitted by amateur photographers only. Eligible photos should reflect aspects of family life, traditional or non-traditional. Entries may be brought to any Child Guidance & Family Solutions location or mailed to 312 Locust Street, Akron, 44302 by noon on March 26 and must be accompanied by a completed entry form available at any location or on our website: www.cgfs.org. Winning entries will be on display at Summit Mall during the Family Expo.
