Faber-Castell creates abundance at CG&FS
On April 23, Amy Nilsen - Sales Account Manager at Faber-Castell USA Inc. in Cleveland - and her father-in-law, Jim Nilsen – Trustee Emeritus at Child Guidance & Family Solutions – broke down and delivered four pallets of creative supplies and materials courtesy of Faber-Castell USA Inc. Over 1000 activity kits were provided plus marker packets, colored pencil packages, and other art and creative activity materials for children aged 5 and above were donated.
Child Guidance & Family Solutions (CG&FS) staff was over-whelmed with this generosity, and will use the materials in a variety of ways when working with children and families. Since 1939 the Agency has been providing therapeutic services to children and teens who are facing mental, emotional, or behavioral health challenges. Children who have witnessed violence, suffered abuse, been bullied or are facing challenges to growing up healthy in mind and body are helped by the caring professionals at CG&FS – child psychiatrists, psychologists, nurse practitioners, behavioral therapists, counselors and case managers.
