The Process: Our Continuum of Care - Group Counseling

The Process: Our Continuum of Care

Help is here. CG&FS offers comprehensive mental and behavioral healthcare. In order to deliver this care so that children and families receive what they need when and where they need it, we coordinate treatment plans both internally and with partner agencies throughout Summit County. Our goal is to integrate services so that we can appropriately manage, efficiently provide, and effectively execute a client’s care.

CG&FS has case managers, therapists, psychiatrists and psychologists on staff, and offers a variety of treatment plans that may include individual or group therapy delivered in one of our offices, within a childcare center or school, or in your own home.

In some cases, a child and their family may need additional help beyond what CG&FS offers. To ensure that your treatment plan is complete, we collaborate with other child-serving agencies, such as Summit County Children Services (SCCS), Summit County Juvenile Court, and the Board of Developmental Disabilities. CG&FS is a member of the Summit County Cluster for Youth, a collaboration of 14 child-serving agencies that work together to coordinate and provide services for children and their families in multiple systems. CG&FS works with primary care physicians and schools to provide effective and coordinated mental healthcare throughout the area.
