Group Counseling

CG&FS therapists and Community Psychiatric Services Team (CPST) members lead group sessions designed to address common issues experienced by a particular age group, ranging from two years of age to adults. Our group therapy sessions provide a safe, supportive, and confidential environment to share your experiences. You will find understanding and encouragement from peers facing similar issues, and gain different perspectives, ideas and viewpoints.

Group sessions are led by a therapist or CPST member and offer an opportunity for participants to listen to each other and openly provide each other feedback. These open, interactions are an opportunity for you to increase understanding, try out new ways of being with others and learn more about the ways to interact and share your feelings. The content of the group sessions is confidential; members agree not to identify other members or their concerns outside of group.

CG&FS also provides individual counseling and therapy services.
