We provide trauma-informed services to the refugee community in Summit County.

Project THRIVE (Together for Healing, Resilience, Inclusion, Voices, and Empowerment) Model

This program was established as a partnership with Boston Children’s Hospital through their Trauma and Community Resilience Center. We use Project THRIVE (Together for Healing, Resilience, Inclusion, Voices, and Empowerment) model that focuses on culturally responsive services and the reduction of barriers within refugee communities. This model includes both prevention services and treatment services.

We Serve the Local Refugee Community

Through a culturally responsive lens, we offer community outreach using a community cultural advisor who is part of the community being served. Our community cultural advisor is an integral part of our skill based groups for youth in the community and mental health servicess are provided by professionals trained in this model.
