Child Guidance & Family Solutions (CGFS) announced that its Board of Trustees has appointed Cassandra Galloway, M.Ed., MBA, LPCC-S, as its President and CEO. Galloway currently serves as CGFS’s Chief Clinical Officer and will officially assume the new position on July 1, 2025. She will succeed Karen Talbott, who will retire effective June 30, 2025.
CGFS Board of Trustees chair Chip Billow expressed confidence in Cassandra Galloway's capabilities. "Cassandra's successful track record in leading our clinical department, her deep understanding of our mission, and her active involvement in developing the organization's 2024-2026 strategic plan make her the ideal candidate to guide Child Guidance & Family Solutions into the future. Cassandra has held various roles within the organization for over seventeen years, with thirteen of those years serving in leadership positions, and we look forward to supporting her in this new role."

About Cassandra Galloway
Galloway, Chief Clinical Officer of CGFS since 2020, has led the evolution and development of CGFS’s clinical capabilities, ensuring CGFS mental and behavioral health professionals benefit from advanced treatment and prevention modalities and evidence-based data and insights. Her expertise in regulatory requirements has been an integral part of ensuring the Agency’s ongoing quality improvement and compliance efforts.
Previously, as an outpatient therapist in the CGFS Barberton office, she treated children, adolescents and adults before becoming the site manager of this location. There, she was responsible for training and supervising mental health therapists and ensuring they provided quality care.
