Child Guidance & Family Solutions (CGFS) has announced that Karen Talbott, MSA, CPA, FHHC, will retire as President & CEO effective June 30, 2025. "On behalf of the Board of Trustees, I congratulate Karen on her well-deserved retirement," said CGFS Board of Trustees chair Chip Billow. "Karen's visionary leadership and unwavering dedication have been instrumental in driving the success of CGFS, which has been recognized in many ways—most notably by helping the organization navigate the challenges of the ever-changing landscape of the mental health field during her 10-year tenure. We are immensely grateful for the solid foundation she has established for the organization.”

“It has been a privilege to lead Child Guidance & Family Solutions through years of transformation as the mental and behavioral health industry has evolved. I have always been proud to promote CGFS’ mission and its programs and committed to ensuring the organization’s continued strength and relevance,” Talbott said. “I am deeply grateful to the board and my past and present colleagues for their support. CGFS has truly outstanding individuals who work every day to provide services or support those who do.”

“I have been talking about retirement over the last year or so and am looking forward to now enjoying its benefits while remaining involved in some community initiatives,” Talbott noted.

The CGFS Board of Trustees will formally announce Talbott’s successor soon.
