Our community came together in an incredible way at this year’s Growing Up Akron on August 27th, raising more than $53,000 to support Child Guidance & Family Solutions’ mental health prevention, treatment, and advocacy services for children, teens, and families throughout our region.

The evening was filled with meaningful connections, community spirit, exciting silent auction bidding, and inspiring reminders of the impact we can make together. Every attendee, sponsor, donor, volunteer, board member, staff member, and supporter played a role in making the event a success.

We are also proud to recognize Barberton Community Foundation as the recipient of our 2026 Friend of Children Award. Their longstanding partnership and commitment to supporting children, families, and communities through prevention, early intervention, and mental health initiatives continue to create lasting impact across our region.

We are deeply grateful for the generosity and support shown throughout the event. Together, we are helping children, teens, and families grow, heal, and thrive.
