Serving Children, Teens, Adults and Families in Ohio

Our approach is anchored in compassion, hope, and proven methods. We believe that everyone’s story matters. At Child Guidance & Family Solutions, we provide mental health services and programs for children, teens, adults and families. We are committed to meeting people where they are and helping families on their journey to wholeness.

We have locations in Akron, Cuyahoga Falls, and Barberton. Telehealth services are also offered to clients within the State of Ohio. Services can also be provided in homes, schools, pediatrician offices, and the community. Find the service or program that would be best for your mental health needs.

Counseling

Child Guidance & Family Solutions mental health counseling services help children, teens, adults, and their families facing difficulties with relationships, transitions, emotions, and actions. We offer in-person or telehealth sessions to provide individual counseling.

Psychiatry

Our board-certified psychiatrists and advanced practice registered nurses (APRNs) specialize in working with children, adolescents, and some young adults. An initial psychiatric evaluation, ongoing assessments, and appointments help build a strategy for treatment.

Prevention

The goal of our prevention programs is to build resilience, address mental health challenges early, and strive for healthy lives. Prevention programs are provided in schools, childcare centers, and our CGFS locations.
